
About Ved Karma
The name 'Ved Karma' is derived from the words 'Veda', which translates as knowledge and 'Karma', which translates as action, both from Sanskrit.

Putting the knowledge from the Vedas (ancient Indian scripture) into action in our daily lives can help to prevent disease and can help to ease discomfort from many ailments that present themselves throughout our lives.
The aim of Ved Karma is to share these tools and resources from the knowledge of nutrition, ayurveda and yoga, so people can feel empowered to make choices in life that help them to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures. Get in touch to get started!

500hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher)

From a young age, I always had an interest in nature. How it evolves, changes and adapts, and how humans and other beings interact with it. I studied animal healthcare, obtained my BSc in Nutritional Science in 2018, became a certified Ayurvedic Therapist (Level 1 & 2) and 200hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) in 2019. I obtained my Plant Based Nutrition Certificate with eCornell in 2022. Most recently I received my 300hr teacher training certificate in Ashtanga, Hatha, Yoga therapy & pregnancy yoga in Mysore, India. I studied Ayurveda with Dr. Arun Sharma at Ayuskama Ayurveda Clinic and Institute, Dharamshala, India. I completed my first yoga teacher training with Rishikesh Yog Peeth, Rishikesh, India. My second teacher training was completed with Yogadarshanam in Mysore, India.

The knowledge of nutritional science, plant based nutrition, ayurveda and yoga have had a profound effect on my lifestyle, diet choices, sleep, digestion and mental health. I hope to share ways in which we can put this knowledge into action in our daily lives to help us feel balanced, aligned and peaceful, despite what life may throw at us.

Staying healthy is is an ongoing process that can be hard to navigate at first, but understanding yourself and what your body needs personally is the first step to making long lasting changes. One in which I will happily guide and support you along the way. I can help with managing digestion, sleep patterns, stress, guidance on a personalised eating plan and helping those who wish to transition to eating a well balanced plant based diet.
