The name 'Ved Karma' is derived from two Sanskrit words:
'Veda' - knowledge
'Karma' - action
Putting the knowledge from the Vedas (ancient Indian scriptures) into action in our daily lives can help to prevent disease and can help to ease discomfort from many ailments that present themselves throughout our lives.
The aim of Ved Karma is to share these tools and resources from the knowledge of nutrition, ayurveda and yoga, so people can feel empowered to make choices in life that help them to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures. Get in touch to get started!
Plant-based Nutrition Coach
500hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher)
From a young age, Laura has always had an interest in nature. How it evolves, changes and adapts, and how humans and other beings interact with it. She obtained her BSc in Nutritional Science in 2018, became a certified Ayurvedic Therapist (Level 1 & 2) and 200hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) in 2019. She recently completed her Plant Based Nutrition Certificate with eCornell in 2022 and her 300hr teacher training certificate in Ashtanga, Hatha, Yoga therapy & Pregnancy yoga in Mysore, India. She studied Ayurveda at Ayuskama Ayurveda Clinic and Institute, Dharamshala, India.
The knowledge of nutritional science, plant based nutrition, ayurveda and yoga have had a profound effect on Laura's lifestyle, diet choices, sleep, digestion and mental health. She hopes to share ways in which we can put this knowledge into action in our daily lives to help us feel balanced, aligned and peaceful, despite what life may throw at us.
Staying healthy is is an ongoing process that can be hard to navigate at first, but understanding yourself and what your body needs personally is the first step to making long lasting changes. One in which Laura will guide and support you along the way.
